The childhood friend may not lose, but the audience sure does.

A soap opera with brief lucid moments where it remembers it's a romcom

A love comedy where the childhood friend doesn’t lose, but also doesn't truly win.

Osamake is a anime with just one takeaway.. otherwise a pretty chaotic romcom without much sense
